Obituary of Gabriele De Luca
Passed away peacefully with family at his side on December 24, 2019 at North York General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Carmela of 55 years, his children Tom (Dina) and Tania (Robert), his grandchildren Alessia, Nadia, and Nicola. He is also survived by his siblings Angelina (Mario) Bambina (Gabriele), his sister-in-law Marietta, and many more extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Tommaso and Carmela De Luca and his brother Valentino.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, nonno, brother, and zio. He was a humble, gentle and kind man who loved spending time surrounded by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York on Sunday December 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be on held on Monday December 30, 2019 at St. Paschal Baylon Church at 92 Steeles Avenue West, North York at 9:30 am with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you to consider a donation in Gabriele’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
