Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 9, 2019. Anne Thompson (nee Hodge) of Iroquois in her 96th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Donald Thompson. Loving mother of Vicki (Ken) Hasson, Janis Thompson, Jamie (Karen) and the late Randy Thompson (Valerie Thompson) all of Iroquois. Dear sister Leah Chapman of Ottawa. Predeceased by her sisters; Doris Ellis, Laura Fisher, Mabel Scott, Ethel Somerville and by her brothers; Howard Kennedy and Lyle Hodge. Anne will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Melanie (Ryan) Paul, Travis (Bozena), Scott (Nathalie) Mathew (Kinga), Dana (Matthew) Morrell, Sarah (Braden) Stone, Courtney (Anthony) Morgan, Jessica (Gursher Sidhu) and great-grandchildren; Dylan, Alyssa, Brody, Hannah, Jack, Amelia, Ethan, Jayden and Brynnlee. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois on Thursday from 3-7pm. A Celebration of life will be held at the Riverview Presbyterian Church in Iroquois on Friday, December 13, at 11am. Donations to Riverview Presby. Church or the Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Interment of cremated remains at the Knox Presbyterian Cemetery in Iroquois.
