Sonny (Mortimer Elie) Booth
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sonny on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Loving husband of the late Raisie (Rose) Breitman. Devoted father and father-in-law of Gary and Suzanne, Cliff, Billy and Sheila. Beloved Zaidie of Brahm and Darla, Zachary and Noa, Justine, Blake, Cameron and Giana, Claire, Madeline, Melanie, Simon and Frances, Philip and Erica, and Carolyn. Adoring great-grandfather of Carey and Juliet. Brother of the late Minnie Vandervest; and brother-in-law of the late Clara and the late Kenny Mayers, the late Gertie and the late Arnold Robins. Special uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of 5 North at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional compassion and dignified care over the past ten years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 21 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
