Mamie Moore Tiller (nee Primmer)

July 15, 1929 - November 12, 2019

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, Mamie Moore Tiller (nee Primmer) of Dildo (formerly of Barr’d Islands), aged 90 years.

Predeceased by husbands, Andrew Moore and Raymond Tiller; siblings, Baxter Primmer, Rita Payne, Doris Pope, Rebecca Gill, and Jane Primmer; as well as two infant brothers.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son, Kevin (Gloria) Moore; daughter, Gloria (John) Healey; grandchildren, Katrina Healey (Brendon), Paul Healey (Krista), Andrew Moore (Angela), Stephen (Alex) Moore, and Charlene (Jim) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Sebastian, Drea, Hannah, and Shanel; great-great-grandson, Cohen; step-children, Diane Corrigan (Jim), Gloria Mercer (Derek), and Eugene (Etta-Mae) Tiller; grandchildren, Sheldon (Linda) Corrigan [Patrick], Steven and Paul Corrigan, Jason (Georgina) Mercer [Cody and Kyle], Jennifer (Bryan) Freill [Teghan, Maryn, Rowan, and Fintan], Kim (Brad) Webb [Megan (D.J.), Michaela (Skylar)], Karen Tiller, and Darryl Tiller (Leslie); brother-in-law, Albert Gill; numerous nieces and nephews, her wonderful home care workers, special friends Lillian, Dorcas, Yvonne, and all members of the Moore Family; as well as Charles and Mary, Alma and Ray, Irene and Selby.  

Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Thursday, November 14, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Friday, November 15, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

A service of celebration for Mamie’s life will be held on Saturday, November 16 at 2:00 pm from All Saint’s Anglican Church, Dildo.

Cremation to follow with private inurnment at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
