October 14, 1926 - October 28, 2019
Our Dad’s Wife, our Mom, our family’s Grandmother and Aunt, our Friend always, passed away on Monday October 28th, 2019, at the North York General Hospital, at the wonderful age of 93. When we, her children, place a headstone upon her final resting place, in part it will read 1926 – 2019. The dash between these two numbers will tell us about her life. The ways that she cared so much about others, the ways that she loved and enjoyed her family so very much, the ways that she helped to raise her two children in her own light, the ways that she loved her life to the fullest, how she loved animals (we think that she got some of that from our Dad), and the times that she shared with her many friends over many years. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Jim Smith, her brother Leslie, and her sister Ethel. Audrey is survived by her son Jim (Anne), her daughter Karen (Steve), her grandson Ben, and her niece Linda. Her burial was a private ceremony with family only, as that is what she had wanted. Donations are not requested. Our family’s hope is that we all keep Audrey’s memory in our hearts.
