With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of our cherished and courageous mother. Predeceased by her loving husband, Bob and her parents, Gerry and Jean Hinde. Patti will be lovingly remembered by her children, Scott, Eric and Amy and their spouses, Caroline, Kayla and Tom.
Always the teacher, Grandma Patti, led many fun activities for her grandchildren Robert, Anna, Ellie and Alina. After a dedicated career as a teacher she continued to be actively involved in the community through volunteer work with B.C. Children’s Hospital, St. Mary’s Kerrisdale and The Brock House. She enjoyed the company of her friends, cycling with the Spokeswomen and sharing her prolific love of reading with her book club. She also loved travelling and expertly hosting family dinners.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Kerrisdale 2490 W. 37th Ave., Vancouver on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation.
