It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Onesta on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Francesco Notarangelo (1996). Loving mother of Antonia and Domenic. Cherished Nonna to Joseph (Daniella) and Daniel (Jennifer). Loving great-Grandmother to Gianluca, Adrian and Andrea. She is also survived by her sister Francesca (Niagara Falls, New York), brothers, Domenic, Angelo and Luigi (London, England). Many sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews in Canada, England and Italy. Predeceased by her parents Rosa Lanni and Giovanni Petrucci, her sisters, Silvia, Michelina, Pasqualina, Maria, and brothers Antonio, Vincenzo, Francesco. She had a great passion for her garden, family and her faith. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington, on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow in Holy Souls Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. www.smithsfh.com
