It is with saddened hearts that the family of Morley Black announces his passing, at the age of 78 years. While unexpected Morley passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth surrounded by family who will miss him very much.
Predeceased by his parents Clifton Joseph Ira and Muriel Mary (Jackson) Black. Survived by his brother and sisters Heather (John Morgan), Diane (Nick Burgess) and Ron (Robin) and his partner Victoria Ash. Proud father of Daryl (Barbara), Susan (Kevin Colton) and Rod (children with Loreen). Morley will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Billy Joe (Bonnie), Darren (Sarah), Chris (Ashley), Gunner and Damon. His great grandchildren Ellis, Harland and Everett will miss their “Grampa” dearly. He will be missed by his God Daughter Cindy Billing (Kevin) along with Jason and Tammy Peckham. Friend and partner in crime Kenny Allan. Morley will be joining Linda (Fisher) who he married June 28, 1991 and previously passed away on April 20, 2007, as well as two of his best pals Ben and Bear.
The family would like to thank the Great War Memorial Health Care Team lead by Dr. Popeil and all the nurses of the ICU.
Private Fire Department honours will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place with interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Innisville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carleton Place Memorial Hospital Foundation.
