It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Demas announces his passing on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Ken was born on September 19, 1936 to Mike and Mary Demas, in the Poplar Ridge Area. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-nine years, Shirley and his children, Greg, Shauna (Mark), and Kyla. Ken will also be fondly remembered by his brother, Ben (Muriel), his sister, Betty, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as the many who needed small engine repairs. Ken was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Leo and Emile and his sisters, Rosetta and Ann. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be announced at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Ken’s honour may be made directly to the Alberta Lung Association at www.ab.lung.ca or to a charity of the Donor’s choice.
