Gerald « Gerry » E. Goddard
1951-2019
It is with sadness we announce the
unexpected passing of Gerald « Gerry » Edmund
Goddard, 68, of Sackville, NB on Wednesday, November
20, 2019.
Gerry was an employee of the Memramcook
Golf Club and a dedicated member and volunteer of the Sackville
Curling Club. He
enjoyed his morning chats at McDonald’s with the
fellas.
He will be dearly missed by his
common-law wife Susan Stokes, Sackville and her children Robert
(Julie) Stokes, Tammy (Dale) Stokes, Katie (Rodney) Tower, and
grandchildren Emily, Bradley, Lindsey, Brianna, Aaron and Anabel; two
sons Keith and Mark and their children; two brothers John and Larry.
He was predeceased by a brother
Stuart.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of the Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will
take place on Saturday from 6 to 8 pm. Gerry’s funeral service will be
held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2 pm from the Jones Funeral
Home. Burial
will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in
Gerry’s memory may do so to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or the
charity of one’s choice.
