Obituary of George Newton
In memory of George Newton who passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Temiskaming Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Gail Bennett-Newton , his daughters Nancy ( Mike London -deceased), Gwen ( Kevin Schuurman), Natasha (Ryan Mousseau), 6 grandchildren, and 5 great- grandchildren, his sister Audrey (Fraser Jibb) and many nieces and nephews.
George loved his wife and family dearly and would do anything for them. He was a man who could move mountains. He loved to work in his shop and spend time at home with Gail and the dogs around the property.
George loved to laugh and you would know it was him just by his laugh. He also had an amazing mind and could build anything. He took great pride in his work and was well known for his welding. Many young men have benefited from his knowledge.
He was surrounded by many good friends and his memory will live on through those who knew him.

As per his wishes, there will be no services
