Donald «Donnie»
Harrison, 74 years of age, of Springhill, NS, passed
away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday,
November 15, 2019. Born in Springhill, he was a son of Audrey
(Skidmore) and the late Cecil Harrison.
Donnie worked as an electrician for over
30+ years . He was a member of Local #625 IBEW. An avid hunter,
cribbage player. Donnie loved to tease. He loved watching
curling & reading.
Donnie will be sadly missed by his wife,
the former Margaret Arsineau; daughter Mandy Hunter (Jason) of
Springhill; sons, Alan Harrison (Cheryl), Robert (Tracey) both of
Springhill; mother Audrey Ryan; seven grandchildren; three great
grandchildren.
Besides his father, he was predeceased ,
step fathers Doug Ray Donald Ryan, sister, Nancy Wile, brother in law,
Owen Wile.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane St., (902-597-2361). The family will receive visitors at the
funeral home on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 2- 4 p.m. Funeral
Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 18, 2019
at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill,
NS.
