Passed away peacefully in his 91st year at The Meadows L.T.C. nursing home in Ancaster, ON. Survived by his wife Beatrice of 60 years, and their children Richard (Karen) Buzzelli of Pickering ON, and daughter Sandra (Tony) Catchpole of Auckland NZ. He will be missed by his granddaughter Katie (Tom) and great-grandson Theo of Wellington NZ, as well as his granddaughter Rachel of Auckland NZ.
Predeceased by his parents Elisabetta, and Cesare Buzzelli, and Sister Laura (Claudio) DiFelice. Survived by his niece Lisa (Domenic) Sambuco, grand nephew Anthony Sambuco, and grand niece Claudia Sambuco. Also survived by his nephew Dominic (Suzanne) Di Felice of Denver Colorado, grand niece Laura (Adam) Main and grand nephew Michael DiFelice. Survived by his brother-and-sister-in-law Ralph and Christine Scott, brother-in-law Ian McPhail (Margaret-deceased), Erma Scott, and Donna Scott (Kenneth-deceased). Domenico enjoyed his membership in the Gagliano Aterno Social Club, keeping in touch with old friends, and especially the picnics and dinner/dances. Domenico was an employee of the Steel Company of Canada for 40 years. For the past 6 months, Domenico has been a resident of The Meadows, a long term care facility in Ancaster. We,the family, would like to thank them for the excellent care they provided Domenico in his time of need.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – «William J. Markey Chapel», 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Thursday from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 11:00 am. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington.
