Clayton Charles Tancowny
It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Clayton Charles Tancowny on October 30, 2019, at the age of 63 years in Edmonton, AB.
Clayton is survived by his children, Tory Giroux, Tammy Giroux and Chasm Houle; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Cecilia, Connie, Allen and Mary. Clayton was predeceased by his common-law wife, Georgina Houle; parents, John and Aline Tancowny; biological father, Clare Lamb; sister, Lorna; and brother-in-law, John.
Clayton was born in High Prairie and at a young age came to Edmonton with his mother, Aline and his siblings, Connie, Lorna and Allen. Clayton attended Alex Taylor Elementary and went on to McCauley High School. Clayton owned and operated C&C Salvage and Demolition in the early 1970s and continued to work in demolition for over 20 years. Clayton was a very kind and hard-working individual who always helped anyone in whatever way he could. He will be greatly missed.
