Obituary for
William Steve Kuzik
William (Bill) Kuzik passed away peacefully on October 17, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Zoria; his daughters, Lori and her husband Glen, Lyndi, and his son, Trevor and wife, Andrea. Bill had six grandchildren, Kristen, Kurtis, Michael, Blaine, Devon and Cory; also two great- grandchildren, Lennon and Jordyn.
Bill was born in Radway, Alberta and enjoyed life on the farm until he began work at an early age. It was when he turned 18 that he became a member of the Ironworkers Union 720 where he spent 65 years working within the construction industry as an Ironworker. He was involved in many legacy construction projects around western Canada and enjoyed working within his own business putting up large gantry cranes around North America.
Bill was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoor enthusiast. He spent much of his retirement rebuilding cars, working around kid’s homes, and travelling. He enjoyed every opportunity to interact with his grandkids and especially the great-grandkids.
Bill will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his tremendous work ethic.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital, inpatient unit, for their support during this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Road, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests your donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de William Steve
