SOUSSAN, Raymon “Ray” Albert

October 14, 2019
With sadness we announce that our beloved Raymon passed away in Cochrane, AB on October 14, 2019. He will be deeply missed by his best friend and partner, Jennifer Moravec; his children Darcy (Tiffany), Sara, Vicky, Alexandra, Amanda, Jonah, Faith, and Grace; his grandchildren, Leah, Raiden and Eva; his mother Johanna and step father Jim Hill; many extended family and friends; and his special dog, Julia.
Ray was born in Calgary and lived his life in the Calgary,
Airdrie and Cochrane areas. He was a hard worker and self-determined man,
working in construction and mechanics as his own boss.
Ray was very outgoing and he believed that life was a party
and meant to be celebrated! Spending time with friends and family was most
important to him. His home was always open to anyone and as he loved to cook, having
many over to share a meal. Ray liked
Classic cars and watching and attending car races. He enjoyed going to hockey
games and playing video games with his son Darcy and best friend Dino. He also liked
going to the mountains and time spent fishing, hiking and skiing. Ray most
loved being a father and spending time with his kids; teaching them how to do
different things. Ray was always willing to help someone out and to give a hand
when he could.
A private celebration of Raymon’s life has been held. As per
Ray’s wishes, his ashes will be spread in the Kelowna area as this has special meaning
for him.
The family would like to extend our thanks for the kindness and support extended to us through this difficult time.
