Peacefully in her sleep at the Trillium Manor, Orillia on Sunday October 6, 2019 at the age of 88. Shirley Forrester of Orillia, beloved wife of Leslie Forrester. Loving mother of Garry Doner (Elma), Brian Doner (Kelly Evans), the late Kenneth Doner (Jen Scott), Wayne Doner (Nancy), David Doner (Mia) and loved by her step children Wayne Forrester (the late Sharon), Roy Forrester, the late Allan Forrester (Jan), Lynn Kitchen (Fred), Lance Forrester (Lucia), Louise Vecia (Gino) and Laurie Picavet (Wayne). Shirley will be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and by her good friend and caregiver Terri Armstrong. Predeceased by her siblings Bert Ferguson and Ruby Ferguson. Relatives and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday October 9, 2019 from 11 A.M. until time of funeral service at 1 o’clock. A reception will follow at the Carson Reception Centre. Interment Knox Cemetery, Oro-Medonte. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
