Patricia Margaret Ogden
1935-2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Patricia Margaret Ogden (Odell) on October 23rd 2019. Pat was born in
England on August 16, 1935 to Lawrence and Rose (Green)
Odell.
She was a loving wife to Manford for over 66 years and the
best mother ever to her three children, Debbie Brine, Derek (Jan) and
David (Lise). In addition, she adored her many grandchildren, Jill,
Mike, Matt, Johnathan and Julie and her great granddaughter, Ana
Sofia.
Over her 84 years, mom found many good friends and neighbours
and she delighted in time spent with her family. Birthdays,
anniversaries and holidays were always occasions to celebrate. She
knew everyones favorite meals, rejoiced in our successes and supported
us in our challenging times. Family, including extended family, was
always her top priority. She will be greatly missed by so many who
loved her so much.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the
doctors and nurses on four northwest at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Regional Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. Galvis, Dr. Flower, the
extramural nurses and the many paramedics.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th, 2019 at
McAdam’s Funeral Home from 2pm – 4pm. The funeral
service will take place on Saturday, October 26th, 2019 at
St. Paul’s United Church at 2pm with interment to follow at
Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Oncology Unit.
