Peacefully, at University Hospital, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, October 26, 2019, Muriel Rose Thompson of London in her 75th year. Cherished wife for 47 years of Tim Thompson of London. Loving mother of Tim and Christine of Toronto and Melissa Nesbitt of London. Proud grandma of Colin Nesbitt. Dear sister of Lorraine and Jim Stauffer, Donna Jean and Joe Wells, Douglas and Ann Gibson and Janet and Phil Tremblay. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Joan and Dub Cummins, Diane Symon and her brothers Lawrence and Donna Gibson, Leonard Gibson and Donald Gibson. Loved by her sisters-in-law Pat Gibson and Jill Gibson and her brother-in-law Tom Symon and Ted and Marcia Thompson.
A celebration of Muriel’s life will be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London (519-652-2020) on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date.
