With profound sadness we announce the passing of a beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and partner on October 20th, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his daughter, Nancy; father John; brothers, Jimmy and Francis. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother, Theresa Dinn, his sons Francis (Julie), Scott (Tina) and Sean (Rhonda); his partner, Rhonda Hayter; Grandchildren, Sarah, Mckayla, Justin, Vanessa Jane, Josh, Vanessa, Amanda, Melissa, Bradley; Great Grandchildren Brooklyn, Cameron, Miya, Rihanna , Bentley. Siblings Daphne (Joe), Betty (Wayne-deceased), Brenda (Tom), Mona (Darrell), Gerry (Martina), Lucille (Steve), Jody (Denise), Cathy (Craig), special lifelong friend Billy Dinn, his four leg friend Snoopy and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his buddies at Cougar Engineering Ltd. Special thanks to Dr. Dawn Armstrong, Kim Manning and all the staff at the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the team at Palliative Care in Carbonear and St. John’s. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, October 22nd and Wednesday October 23rd from 2PM – 4PM, 7PM-9PM. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, October 24th at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin’s Parish, Goulds. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic or a charity of one’s choice.
Rest amongst the angels, free of pain and loved forever.
