Jean Irene Lyons
June 22, 1929 – October 18, 2019
The passing of Jean Irene Lyons formerly of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Blair Wilfred Lloyd Lyons occurred on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB.
Born of June 22, 1929 in Marysville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Amanda (Lyons) Stafford.
Jean worked at the Marysville Cotton Mill and later worked at the Fort Nashwaak Motel.
She was a member of Crosspoint Church. Jean spent the last 5.5 years at Nashwaak Villa where the staff and residents became family.
Jean is survived by her four daughters, Brenda Lyons of Fredericton, NB, Rhona Hoyt of Springfield, NB, Bonnie Lyons-Wells (Dale) and Cheryl Bailey (Daryl), both of Fredericton, NB; son, Winston Lyons (Nancy) of Durham Bridge, NB; eleven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Joan Lyons of Fredericton, NB, Helen Watson of South Carolina; brother, Dale Stafford (Grace) of Zealand, NB; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by five sisters and seven brothers.

Visitation will take place at Crosspoint Church on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6 – 7 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 7 pm with Rev. John Symonds officiating.
Interment will take place in Marysville Baptist Cemetery.
