KISSIL, Giuseppina
January 10, 1931 – October 18, 2019
After a rich and full life, Giuseppina (Pina) Kissil passed away peacefully, in her 89th year, at the Guelph General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished wife of 67 years to the late Peter Kissil, (May 22, 1984).
Dear mother of the late Nick (May 23, 2014) and Nina Dilks (Eric). Proud and supportive Nona to Jason D’Antonio, Stephen D’Antonio (Jennifer), Heather (Nathan), Peter and Rachael and a loving great-grandmother. Pina will be greatly missed by Deborah and George McHallam and by her many friends and neighbours. She is now reunited with her husband, son, parents and siblings.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Pina’s family doctor, Dr. Brian Trainor, to Dr. Lynn Schaeffer, to the nurses on 4 West at the Guelph General Hospital and to the staff at Riverside Glen for their kind, tender and exceptional care. Their thoughtful actions and concern for her comfort were greatly appreciated.
A private family service was held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, followed by entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
