STRAIT, Geraldine (nee McCarthy) August 15, 1921 – October 8th, 2019
Peacefully passed away at Extendicare Oshawa. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Evan. Loving mother of Jackie. She is remembered by her son-in-law, Herman and her grandsons, Greg (Lisa), Dan (Kashmitha), Steven(Charity) and her great grandchildren. Gerry was a former employee of the Province of Ontario. She enjoyed volunteer work, art and was a proficient seamstress.
The family would like to express their great appreciation to all the staff at Extendicare for their thoughtful care, consideration and compassion. Everyone made Gerry’s last four years enjoyable.
Resting at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St E, Oshawa on Friday, October 11th from 10:30-11:30am. A Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 11:30am. Interment at Thornton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to a charity of choice.
