It is with great sadness that
the family of the late FREEMAN
HILLIER of Calmer announce his passing at the
Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Wednesday, October 30th at the age of
91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; wife
Mary Ellen of 63 years; sons, Kevin (Lucy) of Calmer, Clyde of
Toronto, ON; daughter, Rita Thorne (Pat Stacey) of Calmer;
brother, Howard (Mary) Hillier of Marystown; 8 grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; many niece and nephews; plus a large circle of
extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his
parents, Edgar & Emily Hillier; son-in-law, Raymond Thorne;
great-grandchildren, Charlie & Oliver; brother, Aubrey;
sister, Rita; sister-in-law, Melinda.
The Hillier Family will be accepting
visitors at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Lamaline on
Friday, November 1st from 10:00am – 4:00pm & 6:00pm – 9:00pm
where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019 at
2:00pm with Rev. Allan Fry officiating. Interment to follow at the
Church of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery in Point May.
In
Freeman’s memory, donations may be made to the St.
Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or the Church of the
Most Holy Rosary Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully
accepted.
