Frances Mary Connick passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 87.
Born in Nelson, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Richard) Corcoran. She was a homemaker and a member of the Anglican Church. Frances loved baking, swing, playing washer toss, and her year the Mount St Joseph Nursing Home.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Lois O’Neil (Aaron) of South Nelson; son Sonny (Sharon) of South Nelson; brother Fred Corcoran (Betty) of Shannex; sister-in-law Doreen Corcoran; six grandsons; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Douglas Connick, and brother Perley Corcoran.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Thomas Nisbett officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
