Dora Armstrong
1930-2019
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of
Dora Armstrong on October 25, 2019 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.
Born on July 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Robert and
Etta (Mills) Murray.
A loving mom and grandma, she was known for her delicious
holiday meals. The kids and grandkids have special memories of corn
boils at the lake, haying in the field and Christmases at the old
homestead. She was a loving and supportive military wife, living in
Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Ontario until finally settling in
New Brunswick.
Dora will be missed by her sons Bill (Rose) and Doug; her
brother George Murray (Stella Wheadon); her sister-in-law Kay Stephen;
her grandchildren Christopher and Jasmine Armstrong; many friends and
her loyal four-legged canine companion Athena.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
sisters Mildred and Mae; brothers Miles, Gerald and Russell and her
nephew Michael.
At the family’s request there will be no services
or visitation. For further information, please contact
Bill.
Heavens Eyes
The eyes of heaven see you; her heart weeps for
you.
As the heaven’s gates extend, their sorrowful cry is heard
throughout,
Their sentiment matching your loved ones who were left
behind.
While heaven souls greet you, the earth says
farewell.
The Guarding Angels loving embrace welcomes you safely back
home.
Your beautiful smile shining from above will always warm my
soul
As you always watch over us.
For one day, if we meet, I will cry… and say to you.. Thank
You.
For you have taken a little piece of my soul with
you.
May Your Soul Rest in Peace.
