Peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. Dirk Schutten of RR 4 Spencerville in his 93rd year. Dearly beloved husband of Mina Schutten. Loving father of Daniel of RR4 Spencerville, Wendy Matthie of Hawksbury, Letty (John) Poelman of Addison and Richard of Spencerville. Dear brother of Gerrit of Holland. Predeceased by brothers and sisters in Holland. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A celebration of life will be held at the Spencerville United Church on Friday, October 25 at 1pm followed by a reception at the Church. Donations to Gideons would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal. Interment at Shanly Cemetery.
