Dale Gray
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Carol Gray of Addison. Born to the late Maynard and Christina Armstrong on May 22, 1945, in Ottawa, Dale entered into rest on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Dale graduated from the Ottawa Civic Hospital with her registered nursing diploma in 1965 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Ottawa in 1991. Over the course of Dale’s career, she worked as a nurse, supervisor, and healthcare instructor and trainer. Dale was the loving wife of Gary for 54 years; mother of Gregory (Krista) and Andrew (Elin); grandmother of MacKenzie, Rowan, Mason, Ethan, Azalea, and Isaac; and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by her brothers, John (Anne) and Bob (Cindy). She will be remembered as an inspiration to those around her and will be sorely missed.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home, 3 Elgin St. South, Athens, on Friday, November 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 11 a.m. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
