Carole Goldstein

Peacefully, with her daughters at her side, on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the age of eighty-two after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Daughter of the late Florence and the late Irving Salonin. Beloved wife of the late Israel. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Tammi Goldstein and Todd Lanfer, Janie Goldstein and Stewart Moskovitch. Cherished grandmother of Carly Lanfer, Nicole, Justin and Matthew Moskovitch. Sister of the late Peter Salonin and Debbie Gladstone. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and many friends. Carole was formerly a teacher and devoted homemaker. Special thanks to the team at L’Chaim Retirement Home for their excellent care. Funeral service at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Avenue West, Toronto on Sunday, October 20 at 2:45 p.m. Burial at Pardes Chaim Cemetery, 11818 Bathurst Street, Richmond Hill. Sunday following the burial, family and friends are invited to Janie’s home until 6:00 p.m. Shiva will commence on Wednesday and rotate between Toronto and Montreal. There will be a memorial service in Montreal during the Shiva. Details to be finalized for the memorial service and Shiva.
