Bill Gillcash
Bill Gillcash, of
Moncton. March 4, 1956 – October 26, 2019. Surrounded by the
love of his family, our dear Bill passed away peacefully on Saturday
October 26th, 2019 at the young age of 63 and our hearts will be
forever broken.
Bill is survived by his love, Marsha
(Keirstead); mother, Thelma Steeves; daughters, Trudie Gillcash,
Crystal Gillcash and step-daughter, Samantha Reade (Joey);
grandchildren, Brady, Sara, Rhylee, Phinley and Piper; sister, Nancy
(Edgar) Johnson; brothers, Randy (Jackie), Greg (Bev), Dana (Shannon),
Darwin (Donde); his aunt, Mary Wood; many nieces and nephews,
wonderful neighbors and so many good friends who meant the world to
Bill. Last but not least, his dog Foxy. He was predeceased
by his dad, Irving; brother, Ralph; step-father, Aulden Steeves and
his uncle, Bill Wood.
Bill’s career took him to Clover Foods,
then on to Matrix Logistics until his retirement. However, retirement
to Bill was starting his own lawn mowing service, running courier for
Bob and working at Canada Post just for the fun of
it.
Bill was a gentle, easy kind
of guy. Loved a round of golf at Stonehurst and the Wildcats. What
mattered most to Bill was spending time with Marsha, his kids and
grandchildren. Having his family around was what made Bill happy. Add
a little travelling and fun times at the camper was a bonus in his
happy life. We will hold him in our hearts
forever.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Moncton on
Wednesday, October 30th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service at
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00
am with Pastor Jerry Reddy leading the
service.
