Art Wray

Following a brief time in the Banff Hospital, Arthur Melville Wray
passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years, with friends by
his side.
Art was born in Vancouver to Florence Ellen Wray (nee Parkin) and Arthur H. Wray. (both deceased). His family moved back to Banff when Art was a small child. Once Art started school, he lived and was educated in Calgary. After graduation, Art worked for 25 years for the City of Calgary.
After retirement Art enjoyed time in both Calgary and Banff where he had numerous good friends. He also made time for many trips to Hawaii, of which he reminisced about often.
Most days found Art stopping by Melissa’s for toast and hot chocolate before his walkabout, stopping around town to visit and chat with people he knew. He also enjoyed driving in the mountains, especially visiting his beloved Johnson’s Canyon.
Art will be fondly remembered by his many friends in the Bow Valley, Calgary and Montreal.

There will be no service as per Art’s request.
