Angus Brian Taylor 1952 2019

Angus Brian Taylor
1952 – 2019
It is with deep sadness the family of Angus Brian Taylor announces his death on October 29, 2019. He was born Oct.26,1952 to parents Angus and Fanny Taylor in Springdale, Newfoundland. He was one of ten children and being the youngest boy named after his dad, he was called Junior. To his mother, he was her ‘Sweet Pea.’ Growing up he played basketball and eventually left home and moved to Winnipeg as a young man. His life changed in 1989 with the birth of his daughter: Stephanie Jane. Angus was a proud father who loved his daughter more than anything else in the world. He was also a caring brother and uncle. Angus was a dreamer and after the company he worked for relocated he started his own business in 1997– ABT Products. He was respected as a honest businessman with a sharp mind and positive attitude. Through work he made many friends who stepped in to help when he was diagnosed with lung cancer this past summer. His family is grateful for them. Angus lived a simple life: He didn’t ask much of other people and was willing to help when someone needed it. Angus was also a Christian. He is predeceased by his parents, a brother and a sister. His family thanks Dr. Ahmed and the staff on the sixth floor of the Health Sciences Centre rehab hospital for his care. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the CancerCare Foundation of Manitoba. Angus had dreamed of going back to Newfoundland this summer. And he will be buried at home.
