Peacefully, on Monday, October 7, 2019, in his eighty-fifth year. Extraordinary and selfless husband of Joan Quint for forty-one years. Devoted and cherished father of Mindy, and Nadine (Ron). Proud and adoring Zaida of Zack, and Rafi. Dear brother of Chuckie, and predeceased by Herbie, Walter, Stanley, and Barry. Loving brother-in-law of Alice and Ernie, and Fern. Treasured uncle of Julie, Anthony, Mona, Nir, Howard, Alan, Adam, Ronny and Yumi. He will be deeply missed by his many great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. Sincerest thanks and gratitude to Heena Patel for her exceptional love and care, and to Banu and Nina for their care and devotion. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 3A at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for the compassion extended to Allan and his family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 8 at 10:30 a.m. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
