Obituary of Alfred Lawrence Sloat
SLOAT- Alfred, passed away peacefully at Portal Village Port Colborne on Monday October 21, 2019 at the age of 96 years. Born in Wainfleet, he has lived in this area all of his life. Survived by his beloved wife of 73 years Beatrice Sloat, loving children David Sloat, Debbie Smyth (Rick), cherished grandson Shawn Smyth. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Jennie Sloat, daughter Sandy Sloat, granddaughter Brandy Sloat and Sister Grace Stubbins. Alfred Retired from E.G. Marsh as a machinist after many years of service. Special thank you to the entire staff at Portal Village and the care centre where he resided, for all your care during Alfred’s stay.
