Passed away peacefully in Orillia, on Monday September 2, 2019 in her 91st year.
Wilma was the beloved wife of the late Joseph «Cameron» Abernethy. Loving mother to Paul (Jeanette) of Orillia, Heather Ley (Jim predeceased) of Milton, David of Orillia & Stuart (Brenda) of Port McNeill British Columbia.
Cherished grandmother to Christie Reid (Paul), Allison Stubbs (Chris), Suzanne Filice (Andrew), Ellen Caron (Josh), Lisa Bolster (Darryll) & Jason Abernethy, step grandmother to Jeff & Jason Tost. Great grandmother to Lauren Reid, Peyton Jayla, Jordana Tost, Leonardo & Gabriel Filice, Amelia Stubbs and Joelle Caron. Dear sister of Donna Richardson of Beaverton and the late Earl Windatt. A Celebration of Wilma’s Life will take place at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, 429 Jamieson Dr., Orillia, on Saturday September 14th, 2019, visitation 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., service at 3 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to Helping Hands Orillia or St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
