It is with great sadness that the family of the late William (Bill) P Janes announce his passing on September 13, 2019 at the age of 82. He leaves to mourn with endearing and loving memories his children Bill (Claudette) and Paula (Greg), grandsons Matthew and Stephen, and granddaughter Chyanne. Brothers Kevin and David sisters Sheila, and Jean. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Theresa, brothers Jack, Bernard, Fred and Ed, sisters Marg and Marie. Bill worked at Hickman’s Motors in St. John’s. While there he met and married Theresa and together they spent 50 years in Labrador. First in Happy Valley and then Lab City owning their own auto repair businesses, while still taking time to enjoy their passion for hunting and fishing. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place with a private service to follow. The family would like to thank everyone for their compassion and care during this difficult time.
