Veronica Eliza Jane Bader (known as Jeannette), nee Le Blanc. Born September 5, 1931, Powell River, BC. Died September 12, 2019, White Rock, BC. Daughter of the late Charles and Veronica Le Blanc (nee Phelan); elder sister of the late Robert Le Blanc.
Leaves to mourn, daughter Shelley Lee and grandsons Brandon and Christopher Lee, all of Edmonton, AB; cousins Tom and Donna Phelan of Enderby, BC, and other family members. Jeannette’s friendly smile and her sense of humour will be missed by all the friends she made through Surrey International Folk Dancing where she enjoyed dancing for many years.
Gratitude is extended to the staff of Weatherby Pavillion, first floor, for their care of Jeannette over the past three years.
Funeral to be held on Friday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Church, 2250 – 150 Street, Surrey. No flowers please. Interment will take place at a later date in Powell River, BC
