TERESA OLIVIA DECECCO

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Olivia DeCecco, who was called into the arms of our Lord on September 23, 2019 while at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. She was blessed with 75 years of a wonderful life.
Teresa was born in Calgary, Alberta on May 20, 1944 to loving parents, Ronald and Isabelle Keen. She was raised to be a caring, hardworking individual with a compassionate nature. On October 3, 1981, Teresa married her sweetheart and soul mate, John DeCecco – they were the perfect couple and were utterly devoted to each other. She loved John dearly and they were never apart throughout their 38 years of marriage.
Teresa had many interests. She was a very accomplished artist and her paintings and bosun head figurines are a wonder to behold. She loved to cook and we will certainly miss her special lemon meringue and strawberry rhubarb pies along with her Yorkshire pudding. She had a great sense of humor, a love for animals and the company of friends. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John DeCecco; her son, Randy (Kim) Millis of Kelowna; her grandchildren, Clara and Spencer; her sisters-in-law, Betty, Rina and Sandra; her numerous nephews and nieces as well as the countless friends she made throughout her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Isabel Keen; her in-laws, Rino and Lucia DeCecco; her brother, Rod Keen; and her niece, Debbie DeCecco.
No funeral service will be held. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by your local SPCA Humane Society. Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
