Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on September 13th, 2019 in her 89th year. Shirley Goodman, of Orillia, formerly of Toronto, beloved wife of the late Alan Douglas Goodman. Loving mother of Alan Mark Goodman (wife Conny) of Oakville and Carol Louise Rutledge (husband Tony) of Orillia. Nana to Melanie and Kimberley Rutledge, Devon and Liam Goodman. Owned & operated Carolee Kennells Golden Retrievers for 45 years and Can Do Obedience School Inc for 28 years. Following a private family burial service at Oxford Mills Anglican Cemetery, friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Thursday afternoon, September 26th, from 12 noon until the time of Memorial Service, in the chapel, at 2 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations to the Ontario Veterinary College Pet Trust Fund (University of Guelph) or Golden Retriever Rescue or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
