It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Arnold Durling, 76, of Blockhouse, announce his passing on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Simpson’s Corner, he was the son of the late Budd and Ruth (Demone) Durling.
Roger is survived by his wife, Mildred Durling of Hemford, daughter, Wanda Durling and son, James Durling both of Halifax, grandchild, Saide Mosher, sisters, Frances Crouse, New Germany, Betty Jodrey, New Germany, Marie (Lloyd) Jodrey, Newburne, and brother, Donald (Linda) Durling of Sydney.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Bernard.
At Roger’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
