Obituary of Renaud Joseph Duguay
DUGUAY, Renaud (Reno) – Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Bluewater Health ICU at the age of 75. Will be sadly missed by his wife Sandy and best friend of 53 years, loving father of Lori and Shelli and son in law Rob, grandfather of Kyle, Brandon, Megan, Erin and Cole, great-grandfather of Jackson that all meant the world to him. Predeceased by parents Ovila and Doris and brother Reg, father and mother in law Gerry and Lil VanRassel, brother and sister in law Bryan and Barb VanRassel, missed by brother and sister in law Brenda and John Stack and many nieces and nephews. Reno was self employed in the transportation business for 50 years, enjoyed golfing, traveling, spending time with family and friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday October 6th from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Polish Hall, Sarnia. Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to Dr. Haddad and the staff of the ICU at Bluewater Health for their care and compassion.
