Phyllis Gwendolyn Davis, age 90, of Stratford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Hillside Manor on Monday, September 23, 2019. Born in Calgary, AB and raised in Victoria, BC, on May 25, 1929, daughter of the late Earl and Florence Pearson. Predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Wilbert (Bill) Davis on December 31, 2018. Loved mother of Pat (William) Johnson, Susan (Ken) Riemens and Ron Davis (Sarah). Proud Grandmother of Jody (Scott), Julie (Ilie), Jackie (Marek), Jocelyn, Jayne (Rob), Billy, Jim, Chad, Lance, Jennifer, Nick and Braden. Great-grandmother of Madison, Katelyn, Lucas, Colleen, Vinson, Justin and Zachary. Phyllis will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Phyllis was predeceased by her brother Frank (Betty) Pearson and sister Hazel (Norm) Ellis along with brothers-in-law and sisters in-law Jack (Isla), Hartley (Marguerite), Melvin (Alice), David (Reta), Grace, Pauline (Bill), Luella (Grant and Beth (Elmer). Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment in Fullarton Cemetery.
