Obituary
Lavern Pierson passed away in Taber, AB on Friday, August 30, 2019 at the age of 94 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Roy (Barbara) Pierson of Taber, AB and Joel (Marilyn) Pierson of Lethbridge, AB; grandchildren Lee (Julie) Pierson, Wayne (Jacquie) Pierson, Debbie (Norman) DePeel, Kimberly (Graig) Wikenheiser, Chad Pierson, Cam Pierson, Dustin Pierson and Catrina Pierson; 13 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ray Pierson, son Gerald Pierson and daughter-in-law June Pierson.
Lavern was born and raised in Taber, AB. After marrying the love of her life Ray Pierson, they began their family in Taber and were blessed with three children. Lavern loved to curl and attended many Bonspiels. Later in life she and Ray took up Golf. Lavern will be missed as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff and management of Linden View in Taber for their kind and compassionate care.
A Funeral Service will be held for Lavern at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 11:00 am with viewing at 10:00 am.
