Obituary for Mary Gatecliff
Peacefully, with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, MARY ROSALIE GATECLIFF (nee BAKER) passed away at the age of 75. Beloved wife to the late Cecil Gatecliff Sr. (1995). Loving mother to Doug (Lori) Gatecliff, Cecil Gatecliff Jr. and Tracy (Tim) Phalen and Robert Gatecliff. Cherished Nana to Troy, Wade and Jessie Gatecliff, Kenneth Gatecliff and Bradley Fish, Danielle Hillsdon, and Dylan and Lauren Gatecliff. Dear sister to Florence (Doug) Spearman. Predeceased by her parents, Noble and Hilda Baker and her siblings Linda, Christine, Jim, and Dennis. Mary also loved her niece Tammy (Lorne) Liddiard and nephew Jim (Hilary) Clouatre. She cherished the time she spent with all of her good friends. Visitors will be received by the family on Sunday from 3-6p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home , 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains will be in Hillsdale Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.ca).
