The family of the late Leonard J. Young sadly announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn his partner Molly Wheeler; children: Trent (Laurie) Young, Travis (Debbie) Young, Brent (Trina) Wheeler, Doreen Young, Pammie Derouiche, Donna (Glen) Finn, Darlene Young, Luci (Peter) Wile; grandchildren: Courtney, Brianna, Alaina, Jeff, Sherif, Louis, Mickel, Cody, Kelly and Tanner; great grandchildren: Emily, Ashton, Gabriel and Declan; brothers: Morris, Eddy, Harvey and Ignatius; sisters: Eileen, Dorothy, Rita, Nina and Susan. He also leaves to remember him, a large circle of family and friends especially his card partner Vince and his buddy, Lonnie. He was predeceased by his parents, Doug and Maud (Jesso); son Todd; grandson Carter; brothers: Richard, Roddie, Nolan, Hyacinth ad Brennon; sisters: Florence, Blanche and Audrey. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at 2 pm at St. Joseph’s Chapel, Sheaves Cove with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheaves Cove. The family would like to thank Dr. I. Habashi and all the wonderful nurses and staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their kindness and care.
