Obituary of Ken Spotswood
SPOTSWOOD, John Kenneth (Ken)
February 1, 1942-August 30, 2019
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dedicated Father and Grandad in his 78th year. Ken is predeceased by his beloved wife Carole and his nephew Dean. He will be profoundly missed by his children David (Christine) and Dennis (Heather). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Ryan, D.J. and Kristen. He is survived by his brother Bob (Judy) of Coniston, his sister-in-law Rita Ball (David) of Ottawa and nephews Stephen, Jeremy (Elaine) and Pete. Ken will fondly be remembered by many friends and neighbours especially his partner in crime, Michelle. Ken was a long-time parishioner and volunteer at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church. Many thanks to the staff at CCAC Nursing Care Centre in Stoney Creek and for the ongoing visits and prayers from Father Charlie. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish (Nash Rd. and Pottruff Rd.) on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery.
