Jenna M. McAuley-McAllister
1984-2019
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jenna Marie
(McAuley) McAllister on September 2, 2019 at the Upper River Valley
hospital in Waterville, NB surrounded by her loving family. She leaves
to mourn her loving husband, Kevin McAllister, mother and father,
Nancy and Gordon McAuley, sisters, Kim McAuley (Aaron Clark), Jill
DesRoches (Trevor), three nieces that she adored Noella, Sydney and
Olivia and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jenna also leaves to
mourn her mother and father-in-law Lorna and Russell McAllister,
sister-in-laws Tammy Boyle (Jeff), Laurie MacElwain (Darren) and Kelly
Scribner (Jason) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jenna was born December 8, 1984 and grew up in Greenfield, which
remained one of her favorite places to spend time with family and
friends during countless dinners, birthdays, anniversaries and holiday
celebrations, along with times when we simply wanted to be together.
She graduated from Carleton North High School in 2002. Following high
school, she received a diploma in Photography from the New Brunswick
College of Craft and Design. This led to Jenna opening her own
photography business called Focus where she photographed and captured
special memories for her clients and especially friends and family.
While Jenna continued her photography business, she also began working
at Scotia Bank where she held many positions at various locations. She
worked at Scotia Bank in Florenceville, then the love of her life led
her to Fredericton area where she worked at Smythe Street branch and
most recently Minto. She established long lasting friendships and made
an impact on each individual during her daily interactions.
Jenna was full of life and thoroughly enjoyed being with people. She
had the ability to connect with people instantly and form
relationships that have endured the test of time. Her beautiful
personality and smile had the ability to brighten the darkest of days,
along with her one of a kind sense of humor. She loved attending
events, going to concerts, and making the most of each day. Jenna will
forever be remembered for her work ethic. She was often referenced as
being able to do the work of three people. She spent many hours
volunteering for local community events and was always the first to
lend a helping hand.
Jenna and Kevin solidified their commitment to each other when they
wed on June 8, 2019 at the Halifax Infirmary. Surrounded by their
family and friends, Jenna and Kevin were able to celebrate their love
and fulfill their dream of being husband and wife.
Jenna’s family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and
nursing staff who have supported Jenna and the family along this
journey especially Dr. Chatur in her final days.
