Obituary of Helen Kasowski
KASOWSKI, Helen
Passed away peacefully at the Lakeridge Health Hospital Oshawa, on Sunday, September 1, 2019, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence (2011). Caring and understanding mother of Elizabeth (Joseph) Zaraza and Rick (Ania) Kasowski. Loving Babcia of Daniel, Nicolas and Andrew (Booboo). She will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends.Helen was an avid gardener. She also loved sewing, knitting and crocheting. Helen loved spending summers and picking mushrooms up at the cottage in Kaszuby with her family. A special thank you to Jasia Kasowska for all her friendship and care. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Thursday, September 5, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Vigil prayers being held at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St., St. Catharines, on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
