Obituary of Elizabeth Kirkland (nee Brown)
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the passing of my Mom, Marjorie ‘Elizabeth’ Kirkland. She was a light in so many of our lives and we will miss her dearly. Peacefully, Elizabeth passed away at Marnwood Lifecare Centre in Bowmanville on Friday, September 6, 2019, at age 75.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Kirkland and by her beloved companion Howard Kehler. Loving mother of Rhonda Brown (Jeff) and cherished Nanny of Alex, Katie and Ryan. Lovingly remembered by her siblings: Geraldine Wells (late Milford), late George (Pat), Donald (late Linda), late Betty Cooper (Duane), late Kay Parks (Bob), Jim (Mary), late Herbert Brown, late Barb Szabo (late Bill), Linda Thompson (late Gordon), late Frances Ewing (Eric) and Bob (Barb). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa (613-386-7373) on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 11-1 pm. Funeral Service to follow at 1 pm. Interment Riverview Cemetery, Napanee at 2 pm. In memory of Elizabeth, donations by cheque please to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
