It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eileen Marie (Price) Sinnett of Nanaimo and formerly Leduc AB and Fredericton NB on September 17, 2019 at Dufferin Place Nanaimo. Eileen was born on April 14, 1931 at Gagetown, NB, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Morehouse) Price.
She is survived by her daughter Joan (David) Gilbert Nanaimo; son, Larry (Debbie) Calgary; her siblings, Marion Brown, Audrey (Mike) Patterson, Betty (Eugene) Goodine, Roger (Barb) and George (Judy), sisters-in-laws; Olive O’Donnell, Bernice (Clarence) Taylor, Frances (Andy) Rogers Dena Stockford and Erma Price. Daughter-in-laws, Donna, Deanna and Carol, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, daughter Doris Green, sons Wayne, Brian and David and grandson Gerald Green. Brothers Allan and Herbert, brother-in-laws Ronald Brown, Harold O’Donnell, Bliss Sinnett, Nathanial Stockford and David Morton. Sister-in-laws, Marie Price and June Sinnett, son-in-law Richard Green.
Eileen enjoyed family gatherings, playing bingo, listening to live music and singing along.
Eileen dearly loved her annual trips to Arizona and making new friends. She will live on in all our hearts.
Eileen spent the last few years at Nanaimo Seniors Assisted Living and Dufferin Place. In both places she received great care from the dedicated staff that made Eileen’s last few years much more enjoyable.
A memorial will be held in Fredericton next spring.
